Yoga with Stephanie
Well known as a pioneering influencer in Singapore’s fitness industry, Stephanie has spent most of her life as an athlete and a fitness enthusiast. She started yoga in 2012 and discovered quickly that not only did yoga complement her intense fitness regime, but it also nurtured her mental and emotional wellbeing.
Stephanie obtained her 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in 2015 studying Elemental Yoga Therapy at the Swara Yoga School in Bali, where there was an emphasis on a holistic perspective to health. The training included a comprehensive teaching of the ancient systems of health, namely that of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She currently draws from this knowledge to support her own wellbeing and teachings.
Shortly after her initial training, Stephanie started the yoga program at Field Assembly; an offering that has gained much interest in their clients over the years. As her passion for teaching grew, she realised that a more yin approach to yoga is what not only contributed to her personal growth, but was also the method that helped her students most impactfully.
Her first 65 hour yin yoga training was obtained in Goa, India at Sampoorna Yoga School (2018). She then broadened her knowledge and studied with two of the most prominent yin yoga teachers in the industry; Jo Phee (60 hour AcuYin Teacher Training 2019) and Sarah Powers (70 hour Primary Level 1 Training 2020). Stephanie now focuses solely on teaching functional yin yoga and meditation, and continues her studies with Jo Phee and Sarah Powers.
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
